Mainframe Analyst – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and improve systems within a Mainframe environment

• Analyze, develop, and provide support for COBOL applications

• Create and sustain online routines utilizing CICS

• Develop and run batch processes leveraging JCL

• Execute queries, updates, and manage DB2 for z/OS databases

• Work with VSAM file systems

• Monitor and manage processes using Control-M

• Engage with the Monetary module of the B2k system

• Participate in teams employing Agile methodologies

• Assist in identifying and resolving technical challenges

• Collaborate with both technical and business teams to gather requirements

• Contribute to the quality, reliability, and ongoing enhancement of solutions

• Document modifications, solutions, and technical procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

• Background in Software Engineering

• Relevant experience with Mainframe systems and/or COBOL-based programming

• Proficiency in COBOL

• Familiarity with CICS

• Experience in batch processing

• Proficient in JCL

• Experience with TSO

• Knowledge of B2k, especially the Monetary module

• Experience with DB2 for z/OS

• Familiarity with VSAM file systems

• Experience utilizing Control-M

• Experience working in Agile methodology teams

• Understanding of or experience in the Bradesco environment is advantageous

• Preferred knowledge of Changeman, DumpMaster, Hexavision, and Service Manager

• Proactive and collaborative approach

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Capability to work within a team and approach problem-solving in a structured way
