This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Debt Capital Markets Leader on underwriting tasks for a buy-side debt portfolio.
• Conduct business and economic analyses, financial assessments and modeling, along with business valuations.
• Process loan applications and draft credit reports and legal documentation for loans.
• Prepare and deliver credit packages to Relationship Managers and relevant committees.
• Generate credit information for new loans, renewals, loan servicing, and restructuring efforts.
• Co-sponsor credit recommendations alongside Relationship Managers.
• Review credit and financial data, analyze financial statements and forecasts, and evaluate creditworthiness.
• Compile comprehensive credit packages for review and decision-making by the loan committee.
• Manage credit administration and account servicing utilizing Salesforce and nCino.
• Oversee assigned portfolios and carry out continuous financial reviews.
• Keep Relationship Managers updated on financial trends and compliance matters.
• Review credit agreements, loan documents, and participation agreements.
• Address internal and external account inquiries.
• Foster collaborative relationships with deal teams and interdisciplinary departments.
• Maintain expertise in designated market segments and industry trends.
• Train and mentor Association staff, reviewing others' work as needed.
• Attend lender meetings and industry events as required.
• Engage in additional assigned projects and initiatives.
• Make independent decisions under the general guidance of the Debt Capital Markets Leader.
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 7 years of prior experience in credit or financial analysis roles.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, banking policies, procedures, and processes.
• Proven abilities in cash flow, balance sheet, profitability, liquidity, and solvency analysis.
• General knowledge of agriculture and/or agribusiness is favored.
• Demonstrated analytical and statistical skills to assess, prioritize, and categorize data in various formats.
• Proficient in Excel or similar spreadsheet and analytical software.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations, as well as association and district policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Excellent persuasive and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using a PC, including word processing, email, and spreadsheet software.
• Capability to perform basic office tasks and function in a typical office environment.
• Willingness to work during established business hours, with occasional weekend and/or evening commitments.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.
