Mainframe Analyst, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and improve systems within a Mainframe environment.

• Analyze, develop, maintain, and provide support for COBOL applications.

• Create and sustain online routines utilizing CICS.

• Develop and implement batch processes with JCL.

• Conduct queries, updates, and maintenance on DB2 z/OS databases.

• Manage VSAM files.

• Oversee and track processes using Control-M.

• Collaborate with the Monetary module of the B2k system.

• Engage in teams employing Agile methodologies.

• Assist in identifying and resolving technical challenges.

• Work alongside technical and business teams to comprehend requirements.

• Contribute to the quality, reliability, and advancement of solutions.

• Document modifications, solutions, and technical procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Background in Software Engineering.

• Relevant experience in Mainframe environments and/or COBOL-based programming.

• Proficiency in COBOL.

• Familiarity with CICS.

• Experience in batch processing.

• Knowledge of JCL.

• Proficient in TSO.

• Experience with B2k, particularly the Monetary module.

• Proficient in DB2 z/OS.

• Experience managing VSAM files.

• Familiarity with Control-M.

• Experience in teams utilizing Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of or experience in the Bradesco environment is advantageous.

• Demonstrates a collaborative and proactive mindset.

• Possesses strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capable of working within a team and resolving problems in a structured way.
