Import Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee import procedures

• Deliver customer assistance

• Monitor all phases of import operations

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and the logistics network

• Perform essential document assessments

• Enter, register, and validate import documentation, including DI, LI, DTA, etc.

• Supervise clearances and processing stages with the appropriate regulatory bodies

• Conduct initial reviews of import documents and records

• Analyze insights discovered during process evaluations

• Review import paperwork

• Generate tax payment forms, petitions, and other import-related documents

• Implement minor modifications to import processes

• Keep track of deadlines for import stages that may incur costs and/or require prompt action

• Carry out administrative and tax assessments and process federal and state payments

• Review and adhere to tax regulations

• Prepare for and engage in client meetings

• Assess work instructions and protocols

• Suggest new processes for client and internal use

• Assist fellow team members and leadership

• Undertake other related tasks

• Completed Bachelor’s degree

• Proficiency in English

• Proficiency in Excel

• Experience in international trade
