This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive management of intricate, high-stakes proposal responses, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, for both prospective and existing clients worldwide.

• Facilitate in-depth bid qualification discussions and assist in pursuit decisions, proposal readiness, and strategic alignment.

• Direct proposal planning, establish timelines, coordinate stakeholders, identify risks, manage escalations, and oversee cross-functional contributors.

• Independently handle multiple complex proposal pursuits concurrently in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.

• Utilize strategic thinking, competitive insights, and proposal management expertise to craft engaging, distinctive, and high-quality responses.

• Support discussions related to proposal strategy and suggest methods for pursuit approaches, messaging, competitiveness, and enhancements in proposal effectiveness.

• Provide leadership direction and influence throughout project teams.

• Identify avenues for enhancing proposal processes, pursuit efficacy, and operational methods.

• Lead the development, writing, editing, and refinement of proposals.

• Review and provide guidance on executive summaries, cover letters, messaging, and other vital proposal elements.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and senior stakeholders across Sales, Solution Engineering, Services, Finance, Legal, Security, Marketing, and other departments.

• Ensure that submissions adhere to brand, messaging, style, and audience specifications.

• Facilitate proposal reviews and ensure alignment in messaging, positioning, and response strategies.

• Serve as a trusted advisor within the Proposal Management team, assist with onboarding, and mentor team members.

• Contribute to operational enhancements, content development, scalable proposal management strategies, knowledge sharing, and ongoing improvement.

• Utilize proposal tools, AI-driven technologies, operational procedures, and best practices to elevate quality, efficiency, and pursuit results.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role within a dynamic, high-volume proposal writing setting.

• Direct experience in the high-tech sector is preferred.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.

• Capability to create engaging, strategically aligned, audience-centric proposal responses and executive-level communications.

• Proven track record in developing processes and content to support new business initiatives and expansion.

• APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification or equivalent is desired.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce, Adobe tools, and proposal automation software.

• Demonstrated ability to apply and advocate for AI-enabled tools and progressive proposal management best practices.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong adherence to strict deadlines.

• Experience in writing proposals for educational or other significant sectors is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technical Writing, English, Communications, or Journalism is preferred.
