Senior Project Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create, manage, and enhance comprehensive project schedules utilizing Microsoft Project.

• Consolidate contractor and supplier schedules into a unified master programme.

• Supervise planning throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and design to procurement, construction, testing, implementation/commissioning, and handover.

• Track progress, evaluate schedule discrepancies and critical paths, and formulate prompt recovery and mitigation strategies.

• Serve as the primary planning contact for the client.

• Facilitate programme plan reviews with client representatives, design partners, and contractors.

• Deliver transparent, data-driven planning insights.

• Generate weekly and monthly planning reports detailing progress and milestone achievements.

• Ensure baseline control, effective change management, and visibility of schedule risks, constraints, and interdependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls.

• Proficient expertise in Microsoft Project.

• Strong analytical abilities, including schedule variance, critical path, risk, and dependency analysis.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to report to senior client stakeholders.

• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

• Experience in integrating contractor and supplier schedules into intricate master programmes.

• Background in implementing robust planning standards and contributing schedule inputs to broader project risk management.

• Candidates must be eligible to acquire and maintain SC clearance.

• Must be based in the UK.
