Senior Project Manager – Transmission Line

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Direct the planning and execution of utility transmission line projects of varying complexity.

• Assist in business development by engaging in project scoping, fee formulation, proposal drafting, interviews, negotiations, and contract creation.

• Establish project scope, work procedures/sequences, timelines, budgets, staffing, vendor lists, and billing milestones following project award.

• Collaborate with client management to address issues and secure project completion approvals.

• Foster ongoing business relationships with clients as part of business development initiatives.

• Organize, communicate, and coordinate project engagements effectively.

• Oversee daily interactions with clients and project teams.

• Attain project quality, scope, budget, and schedule goals.

• Evaluate project performance and resource usage.

• Recognize potential out-of-scope work.

• Handle and negotiate contract change orders.

• Identify and manage project risks from the proposal stage through to project completion.

• Mentor, train, and supervise other Project Managers.

• Participate in and conduct portfolio and project reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the Power Delivery Industry.

• A minimum of 5 years in project management roles.

• Solid grasp of financial management principles.

• Proven ability and success in managing large multi-discipline programs, projects across multiple offices, and/or numerous projects simultaneously.

• Comprehensive understanding of various power delivery project types, including transmission, substations, and distribution.

• Exceptional relationship development and management skills.

• Must be a resident of New Jersey.
