Senior Project Manager, Sage X3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple ERP implementations and customer engagements simultaneously.

• Maintain comprehensive control over project timelines, budgets, and scopes.

• Plan, organize, lead, and supervise activities of the project team.

• Develop project plans and allocate resources accordingly.

• Ensure that project plans and deliverables align with approved requirements.

• Confirm that adequate resources are available for all project tasks.

• Prepare management deliverables to effectively conduct projects.

• Inform the Client Steering Committee and Client Project Manager of any open issues and provide recommendations for resolution.

• Maintain regular communication with the Client Project Manager regarding project progress updates.

• Monitor deliverables, Project Change Requests, decisions, and unresolved issues.

• Negotiate commitments and changes with involved parties.

• Revise documents and project work plans to reflect approved Project Change Requests.

• Keep Professional Services Managers updated about their clients and facilitate engagement as needed.

• Collaborate closely with the Professional Services Team to ensure that solution delivery and consulting engagements meet expected outcomes and achieve customer satisfaction.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, or a related field is mandatory.

• PMP Certification, or the capability to obtain PMP certification within the first 12 months of employment.

• A minimum of three years of experience in project management is essential.

• At least five years of experience in manufacturing and/or distribution software implementation.

• Demonstrated success in software project implementation and deployment.

• Experience with Sage X3 is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in professional services and/or consulting is preferred.

• Strong leadership, collaboration, written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and presentation abilities.

• Adaptability in task assignments, priorities, and work environments.

• Willingness to travel 25% to 50% of the time.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, numerical, planning, and reasoning skills.

• Ability to function independently as well as part of a team.

• Entrepreneurial mindset; self-motivated and self-directed.

• Open-minded and eager to learn.

• Quick thinker with creative problem-solving capabilities.
