Senior Project Manager – Retail Bank Renovations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple renovation projects for regional retail banks from start to finish.

• Manage all aspects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and project closure.

• Coordinate renovations in operational facilities while ensuring minimal disruption to business activities.

• Develop scope of work, identify resource needs, estimate costs, create budgets, set schedules, establish milestones, implement quality controls, and identify risks in collaboration with clients.

• Specify project delivery resources from pre-approved lists or through the project qualification process.

• Conduct requests for proposals, perform bid assessments, and make resource recommendations.

• Facilitate the creation of project charters and integrated timelines.

• Ensure project functions remain on schedule and address or escalate issues as necessary.

• Lead regular project status meetings to track progress.

• Collaborate on solutions and support teams throughout the implementation and completion phases.

• Mentor team members and foster their functional expertise.

• Persuade senior stakeholders and convey complex concepts effectively.

• Contribute to the development of new products, processes, standards, and operational strategies.

• Comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, along with 8–10 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education may substitute for a degree.

• Experience in the financial services sector is required.

• Retail construction program experience is highly advantageous.

• Preferred certifications include LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.

• Familiarity with Kahua, MS Project, or other project management software is desired.

• Must possess excellent organizational skills and a strong inquisitive mindset.

• Ability to address unique challenges using both conventional and creative solutions.

• Willingness to travel regionally up to 25%–30% within the Eastern or Central time zones.

• On-site presence and requirements may vary based on client needs.
