Senior Project Manager – Retail Bank Construction, Ground-Up/Fit-Outs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee various regional retail banking real estate projects from inception to completion.

• Supervise planning, design, construction, occupancy, and project closure.

• Manage renovations in occupied spaces while minimizing impact on business operations.

• Develop project scope, resource needs, cost estimates, budgets, timelines, milestones, quality assurance, and risk assessments in collaboration with clients.

• Identify project delivery resources from pre-approved lists or through qualification processes.

• Conduct complex requests for proposals, assess bids, and recommend resources.

• Facilitate the creation of project charters and integrated timelines.

• Ensure project activities remain on schedule and address or escalate issues as necessary.

• Organize regular status meetings for ongoing and upcoming projects.

• Collaborate on solutions and guide project teams through execution and completion.

• Develop enhanced methods, processes, standards, and operational strategies.

• Mentor others and share expertise across various project management disciplines.

• Influence senior stakeholders and convey complex concepts effectively.

• Travel regionally up to 25%–30% within the Eastern or Central time zones.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, accompanied by 8–10 years of relevant experience.

• A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Experience with financial services clients is mandatory.

• Experience in retail construction programs is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.

• Familiarity with Kahua, MS Project, or other project management software is essential.

• LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM certifications are preferred.

• Ability to address unique challenges using both standard and innovative solutions.

• Exceptional organizational skills paired with a strong inquisitive mindset.
