This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Responsible for the overall delivery of projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
• Establish and convey customer expectations to the project team effectively.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external escalation procedures.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve or surpass deliverables.
• Manage increasingly complex projects, including those spanning multiple services and regions/countries.
• Act as the primary contact and liaison between the project sponsor and the organization.
• Define responsibilities and communication channels for secondary project leads as needed.
• Take ownership of overall cross-functional project delivery.
• Ensure financial accountability, including understanding contracts, aligning budgets, negotiating changes for out-of-scope activities, and executing timelines.
• Facilitate risk identification and issue resolution at the project level.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and project-specific standards.
• Proven experience managing full-service clinical trials, particularly in the field of Respiratory Diseases.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years in a management role.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas, clinical development guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Expert understanding of cross-functional project management principles related to time, quality, and cost.
• Exceptional oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in leading, motivating, and coordinating cross-functional project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity, and organizational systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and resources in a dynamic environment.
• Skills in process improvement and strategic development applicable to clinical trials, clinical development, and project management.
• Capability to coach, mentor, and lead global or cross-functional teams with cultural sensitivity.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
• Excellent customer service, consultation, and relationship-building skills.
• Advanced negotiation and marketing abilities.
• Skills in judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and strategic thought processes.
• Proficiency in risk identification and management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and comprehend various information.
• Capacity to work in an upright and stationary position during standard working hours.
• Ability to utilize and adapt to standard office equipment and technology.
• Capability to perform under pressure while managing multiple projects or tasks.
