This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +6 more countries.
• Oversee projects as a Project Manager, managing interdisciplinary clinical research programs while ensuring adherence to GCPs, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the Company and Customer throughout the project's initiation, execution, and conclusion.
• Lead clinical teams to maintain quality, meet timelines, and manage budgets effectively.
• Oversee the financial performance and delivery of project objectives.
• Coordinate with project conduct partners, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Maintain project information in relevant databases and systems.
• Monitor and assess project progress through timelines and analytical tools.
• Manage inspection readiness components of project management, including Trial Master Files.
• Supervise project plans in line with Controlled Documents.
• Prepare, organize, and present project materials at both internal and external meetings.
• Direct Project Support staff and provide mentorship to project management team members and clinical personnel.
• Develop project management reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Implement resource strategies, contingency plans, and risk management strategies.
• Participate in bid defense meetings as a prospective project manager/director.
• Cultivate client relationships to foster new business opportunities and expand existing ones.
• Stay informed about therapeutic landscapes and trends in drug development.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines, regulatory requirements, the drug development process, and clinical monitoring protocols.
• Preferred experience in a clinical research organization (CRO) and relevant therapeutic areas.
• Strong ability to independently manage time effectively.
• Willingness to adopt new technologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to mentor and manage new staff while multitasking to meet deadlines, ensuring high-quality output in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 25%).
