Senior Project Manager – Patient Access Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership and project management guidance for large, intricate, and/or strategic projects across various locations.

• Outline the projects, including their purpose, objectives, scope, business rules, deliverables, work plans, and key decisions.

• Assess business needs and engage with clients to grasp their requirements.

• Obtain executive backing and secure funding approval.

• Assist with departmental funding and budgeting processes.

• Create and sustain detailed project plans, continuous improvement strategies, communication frameworks, timelines, and estimations.

• Oversee multiple simultaneous projects, substantial budgets, high-stakes transformation initiatives, and quantifiable business metrics.

• Guide large, cross-functional project teams in meeting milestones and objectives within set timelines and budgets.

• Mentor junior project managers, team members, and trained change agents.

• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events.

• Implement Visual Workplace and Standard Work practices at the site level.

• Ensure continuous improvement initiatives align with the organization's strategic goals.

• Train and cultivate change agents, offering support in their training development, selection, and delivery.

• Create or select Lean Six Sigma training materials and enhance Green Belt-level knowledge among functional-group resources.

• Evaluate complex scenarios, simplify issues into options, and drive toward suitable conclusions.

• Guarantee that projects meet operational needs and requirements.

• Provide feedback to Contracts Management regarding scope-of-work and budget adjustments.

• Notify Finance of project deliverable completions for invoicing and follow-up.

• Aid in business development proposals and engage in business development presentations.

• Advocate for process-improvement initiatives and assess their outcomes.

• Track and report contract status for new business, acting as a liaison between Finance and project teams.

• Lead design and strategy discussions as well as product/service development.

• Construct strategic communications and distill complex topics into actionable plans.

• Participate in internal and external meetings and events, both in-person and virtually.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• 8–12 years of pertinent experience, or a Master’s degree with 5–10 years of relevant experience.

• Preferred Lean Certification at Expert or Master level.

• Strong project management capabilities using various software to prepare and implement business plans.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience in project management for implementing PAS services, such as Reimbursement Service, Financial Assistance, PAP program setup, Adherence Programs, and Copay programs is preferred.

• Experience in leading and managing systems integration and CRM development projects to support PAS is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.

• Must have overseen all aspects of Lean Deployment, ideally in a contact center setting.

• Capability to manage complex analyses from issue identification through to proposing potential solutions.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% for related meetings and conferences as necessary.
