Senior Project Manager – Patient Access Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and oversight for large, intricate, and/or strategic projects across various locations.

• Define project objectives, purpose, business rules, deliverables, work plans, and decision-making processes.

• Establish project scope and engage with clients to comprehend their business requirements.

• Obtain executive sponsorship and secure funding approvals.

• Assist in departmental funding and budgeting processes.

• Create and sustain detailed project plans, ongoing improvement strategies, communication plans, schedules, and estimates.

• Oversee multiple simultaneous projects, larger budgets, high-risk transformation initiatives, budget or revenue implications, profit contribution, and other quantifiable business metrics.

• Lead substantial cross-functional project teams to meet milestones and objectives within deadlines and budget constraints.

• Mentor junior project managers, team members, and trained change agents.

• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events.

• Implement Visual Workplace and Standard Work at the site level.

• Align continuous improvement projects with the organization's strategic goals.

• Develop or choose Lean Six Sigma training modules and assist in delivering or selecting Change Agent training.

• Analyze complex scenarios, simplify issues into options, and drive to suitable conclusions.

• Ensure projects meet operational needs and specifications.

• Provide input to Contracts Management regarding scope-of-work and budget revisions.

• Notify Finance of project deliverable completions for invoicing tracking and follow-up.

• Support business development proposals and engage in business development presentations.

• Advocate for process improvement initiatives and assess outcomes.

• Monitor and communicate contract status, acting as a liaison between Finance and project teams.

• Lead design and strategy sessions as well as product/service development efforts.

• Participate in both internal and external meetings/events, whether in-person or virtual.

• Travel up to 40% as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

• 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5–10 years of relevant experience.

• Preferred Lean Certification at Expert or Master level.

• Extensive project management skills utilizing various programs to prepare and execute business plans.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Preferred experience in project management related to implementing PAS services - including Reimbursement Service, Financial Assistance, PAP program setup, Adherence Programs, Copay programs, and other related services.

• At a minimum, experience leading and navigating Systems integration and CRM build projects to support PAS is preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent organizational abilities.

• Must have managed all aspects of Lean Deployment, preferably within a contact center environment.

• Ability to manage complex analyses from issue identification to proposing potential solutions.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% for attending relevant meetings/conferences as required.
