Senior Project Manager – Neurosciences, Psychiatry or Rare Diseases Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the main contact for sponsors and the primary liaison at the project level between the sponsor and the organization.

• Lead interdisciplinary project teams to achieve or surpass objectives.

• Oversee the overall delivery of projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.

• Set and convey customer expectations effectively.

• Ensure that both internal and external escalation pathways are properly utilized.

• Outline responsibilities and communication channels for additional project leads when necessary.

• Oversee contract comprehension, budget resource alignment, management of out-of-scope activities, negotiations involving Contract Modifications, and team execution according to schedules.

• Facilitate the identification of project-level risks and resolution of issues utilizing RBQM/RESOLVE methodologies.

• Ensure the project team adheres to organizational policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory standards, and project-specific requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in managing global trials specifically in Psychiatric or Neurological Rare Diseases.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications.

• More than 8 years of relevant experience in a comparable role.

• Proficiency in technical systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity.

• Capable of delegating tasks and prioritizing workloads in a dynamic environment.

• Strong oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills.

• In-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives.

• A solid grasp of project management principles, including time, quality, and cost management.

• Strong financial understanding.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.

• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• Good judgment, decision-making capabilities, and critical thinking skills.

• Proficient in negotiation, persuasion, and influencing others.

• Awareness of cross-cultural dynamics.

• Commitment to compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific protocols.
