This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the Project Lead and main point of contact for sponsors.
• Responsible for the overall delivery of the project, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
• Set and communicate customer expectations clearly to the project team.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external escalation processes.
• Define roles and communication strategies for secondary project leads when necessary.
• Guide cross-functional project teams to achieve or surpass deliverables.
• Oversee financial management, including understanding contracts, aligning resources, managing out-of-scope activities, negotiating Con Mods, and executing timelines.
• Facilitate risk identification and resolve issues at the project level through RBQM/RESOLVE methodologies.
• Ensure the project team adheres to organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience managing global trials in Psychiatric or Neurological Rare Diseases.
• Proficient in technical and systems applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity.
• Capable of delegating and prioritizing both personal and project team workloads.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Proactive, solution-focused, and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Advanced knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives.
• Solid grasp of project management principles, including time, quality, and cost.
• Strong financial insight and acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
• Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Critical thinking, analytical skills, and strategic thinking for navigating complex or ambiguous situations.
• Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence stakeholders.
• Awareness of cross-cultural dynamics.
• Commitment to compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements.
