Senior Project Manager – Microsoft

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the complete lifecycle of Microsoft projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined scope, budget, and timeline.

• Manage client expectations from the initial project kick-off through to Go-Live.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the client Project Manager and the client team.

• Address conflicts and issues with the aim of fostering and maintaining positive relationships.

• Strategically plan and prioritize activities and deliverables that align with clients’ business objectives and solution delivery, following the Argano Delivery Methodology.

• Develop and maintain project plans and associated artifacts.

• Monitor progress against deliverables, make necessary adjustments to plans, and provide consistent status updates to senior leadership and clients.

• Actively manage project budgets, dependencies, and risks.

• Inspire, motivate, and cultivate the development of project team members.

• Build a robust project leadership team and navigate escalation paths as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of project management experience, including enterprise-level projects.

• Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager on enterprise Microsoft initiatives.

• Proven track record of successfully leading full lifecycle projects from initiation to completion.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interactive team management abilities.

• Highly polished, professional, and confident presentation and public speaking skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills: capable of resolving issues and mitigating risks to prevent project obstacles and escalations.

• Experience working with Microsoft, ISVs, and integrations.

• Proven ability to manage client relationships and effectively communicate with C-level executives and sponsors.

• Skilled in creating accurate budget versus actual reporting for presentation to customers and executive management.

• Experience in establishing and implementing internal tools and best practices.

• Proactive in managing multiple projects and teams concurrently in a dynamic technology environment.

• Willingness and ability to travel 25% to 50% to client locations.

• MBA or relevant master’s degree; an advanced degree is preferred.

• PMP Certification is a plus.

• Scrum Master certification is a plus.
