Senior Project Manager, Manufacturing – Steel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead collaboration with product solutions architects, quality engineers, technology providers, and infrastructure teams to support concepts, high-level designs, and comprehensive solutions.

• Grasp intricate technical challenges; effectively communicate with both internal and external technical teams; prioritize issues based on urgency, impact, risk, and release timelines; and facilitate their resolution.

• Create and revise Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to ensure alignment of requirements with Symbotic’s objectives and to identify and mitigate all potential product failure mechanisms.

• Direct projects involving Quality activities such as PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and process capability assessments.

• Guarantee the safe execution of all activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from manufacturing to implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• At least 12 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, and automation development, preferably in robotics.

• Strong technical expertise in the deployment of automation equipment.

• Advanced project management skills with a background in managing complex initiatives.

• Strong leadership qualities and a natural ability to collaborate and foster relationships are essential.

• Proven ability to manage projects across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

• History of surpassing project deliverables while adhering to timelines and budgets, with an emphasis on risk mitigation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating and communicating effectively with all levels of staff and management.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Familiar with scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera) and earned value management systems.
