This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +4 more states.
• Take the lead in managing the comprehensive implementation lifecycle of mid to large-scale multi-discipline installations within Clinical Laboratory environments.
• Create and execute project plans for instrumentation, ensuring readiness of the customer while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate and coordinate with laboratory directors, engineers, technicians, and vendors to guarantee successful project execution.
• Perform thorough assessments of laboratory infrastructure and readiness requirements.
• Suggest suitable instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions along with their respective timelines.
• Supervise the procurement and installation of equipment.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and best practices within the industry.
• Manage the implementation of instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions.
• Report directly to the Manager of Project Management as a member of the Solutions One Project Management Team.
• Bachelor's Degree with over 5 years of experience in Project Management.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects, including examples and artifacts such as Communication Plans, Project Plans, and Risk Plans.
• Advanced knowledge of the Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry, particularly focused on the Laboratory Regulatory environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Skilled in Project Management software, specifically Smartsheet.
• Experience in reading and interpreting floor plans and design drawings.
• Availability for travel Monday through Friday, up to 80% nationally.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Experience in Project Management within Construction and IT is advantageous.
• PMP Certification is a plus.
• A background in Medical Technology and relevant work experience is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA).
