This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Project Director and Construction Leader to define site work strategies.
• Develop and update the monthly project financial and physical progress tracking framework for site activities.
• Conduct weekly updates on site schedules comparing planned versus actual progress alongside the site manager and project planner.
• Facilitate communication among project teams to ensure effective planning and execution.
• Engage in meetings with customers.
• Identify changes in scope management related to site activities and oversee their impacts on quantity and quality.
• Monitor project site documentation to ensure timely delivery to the client.
• Participate in risk mitigation strategies and assess opportunities.
• Create requests for quotations and purchase requisitions for subcontracting site work.
• Manage specific vendor packages on-site, including piping, painting, and machining.
• Prepare detailed mobilization plans and ensure resource-loading requirements are satisfied.
• Lead the mobilization tollgate review on behalf of Construction and Commissioning.
• Anticipate activities related to site mobilization, including tooling, safety gear, warehousing, office infrastructure, worker accommodations, and site training.
• Organize and lead site demobilization at the conclusion of the project.
• A college or bachelor’s degree in management or engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or relevant proven field experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in project management within Construction or Commissioning.
• Project Management Certification is required.
• Familiarity with technical concepts, particularly hydropower technology, turbines, generators, and mechanical and electrical balance of plant systems.
• Experience in field management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Willingness to travel within the USA at least 30% of the time.
• Strong commitment to an EHS culture.
