This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the implementation of intricate projects within the Grid Automation solutions sector.
• Ensure that project objectives align with broader business goals.
• Effectively manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for projects.
• Uphold safety and quality standards throughout the execution process.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain clear communication and manage expectations across the entire project life cycle.
• Create comprehensive project plans that encompass timelines, milestones, and resource distribution.
• Leverage planning and scheduling tools to track progress, manage the critical path, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Achieve optimal budget control by developing a clear work breakdown structure and monitoring Earned Value (EV), also known as Budgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP).
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks that arise during project execution.
• Ensure all project outputs comply with quality benchmarks and regulatory standards.
• Compile and present regular status updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain precise and thorough project documentation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of project management experience in the energy or Grid Automation industry.
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing complex, multi-dimensional projects.
• Experience with protection relays, bay controller units, auxiliary relays, and telecommunications equipment is highly preferred.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong leadership abilities and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Analytical thinker with robust problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and offices as needed by the project plan (approximately 20%).
