Senior Project Manager – Government Projects

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various projects while adhering to scope, timelines, and budget constraints.

• Establish and uphold effective oversight for project delivery across the entire portfolio.

• Develop and lead project teams, encouraging collaboration and professional development.

• Choose and tailor project management methodologies to meet the specific needs of each project.

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with projects.

• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of projects for stakeholders.

• Maintain close communication with clients to manage expectations and facilitate business growth.

• Organize resources, assign tasks, and track progress effectively.

• Address conflicts and foster a culture of high performance within the team.

• Leverage project management tools to ensure clarity and track progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project and/or program management.

• Familiarity with public sector or governmental projects.

• Experience managing fixed-price projects.

• Strong knowledge of project, program, and portfolio management principles.

• Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and guiding team members.

• Proficient in risk management, planning, and decision-making processes.

• Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Microsoft tools).

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Strong organizational, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to adapt swiftly to changes and navigate complexity.

• Advanced understanding of corporate environments and business goals.

• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level.
