Senior Project Manager – EHR Implementations, Healthcare IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee client projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, milestones, resources, budgets, and dependencies.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing their expectations, relationships, decisions, resources, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with Professional Services, Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and other internal teams.

• Proactively identify and address risks, issues, and resource gaps prior to their impact on delivery.

• Manage projects according to signed Statements of Work (SOWs) and budgets, detect scope creep, and facilitate Change Orders.

• Ensure suitable project staffing and address any concerns regarding resources or performance.

• Provide updates on project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to clients and company leadership.

• Enhance project delivery processes, tools, and best practices.

• Ensure timely, budget-compliant, and within-scope delivery while maintaining client satisfaction.

• Maintain a billable utilization rate of over 65% and actively manage project health, dependencies, escalations, and accountability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, ideally in SaaS, software implementation, or healthcare technology.

• Experience in healthcare or healthcare technology is highly preferred.

• Strong technical understanding with the ability to grasp software, workflows, integrations, and technical dependencies.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and take initiative with minimal supervision.

• Excellent client-facing communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Capability to influence and hold stakeholders accountable without direct authority.

• Comfortable navigating challenging conversations and assertively pushing back when needed.

• Extensive knowledge of HL7 integration and other healthcare interoperability standards.

• PMP, CSM, or similar certification is advantageous.
