This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the main project management liaison for clients, sponsors, and internal delivery teams.
β’ Foster trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication, credible guidance, consistent follow-through, and a deep understanding of client goals.
β’ Oversee project initiation, discovery, kickoff, planning, execution, transition, and closure for consulting projects.
β’ Convert statements of work, engagement objectives, and client needs into delivery plans, milestones, outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
β’ Manage the entire project lifecycle for multiple simultaneous client engagements.
β’ Create and sustain integrated project plans that encompass milestones, workstreams, dependencies, resources, deliverables, and critical path activities.
β’ Control scope and change management, including impact assessments, approvals, documentation, and communication.
β’ Monitor project health through delivery metrics and suggest intervention or recovery strategies.
β’ Design and oversee governance models for engagements, establishing meeting rhythms, decision rights, escalation processes, reporting expectations, and stakeholder involvement.
β’ Maintain RAID logs and handle risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, dependencies, constraints, and their mitigations until resolved.
β’ Lead governance reviews, stage gates, steering committees, executive updates, and formal delivery checkpoints.
β’ Prepare governance packs that communicate project health, progress, decisions, risks, issues, financial status, and recommended actions.
β’ Oversee project budgets, forecasts, expenditures, actuals, remaining effort, resource plans, and financial performance.
β’ Assist with time, expense, invoicing, utilization, and revenue-related processes.
β’ Provide status updates and lead client status meetings, working sessions, steering committees, executive briefings, and retrospectives.
β’ Guide and influence cross-functional, matrixed teams; clarify responsibilities, resolve conflicts, eliminate obstacles, and promote collaboration.
β’ Collaborate with resource management, sales, finance, operations, security, and practice leadership.
β’ Leverage lessons learned, delivery metrics, client feedback, and retrospectives to enhance execution and client experience.
β’ Contribute to project management standards, governance practices, templates, playbooks, and reporting.
β’ Adhere to company-defined billable utilization targets.
β’ Travel for client or internal engagements as necessary, up to 20%.
β’ 5+ years of progressive experience in project management, including significant client-facing project delivery experience in consulting, professional services, technology, cybersecurity, compliance, advisory, or a similar environment.
β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred, or an associate degree coupled with equivalent experience in project management, business administration, consulting, technology, or a related field.
β’ Proven success in leading complex client engagements involving multiple workstreams, stakeholders, deliverables, dependencies, and competing priorities.
β’ Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, dependencies, quality, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
β’ Demonstrated experience in designing or managing project governance, including steering committees, decision rights, escalation processes, stage gates, RAID management, and executive reporting.
β’ Experience collaborating with client executives, sponsors, business stakeholders, and delivery leaders to ensure alignment and achieve outcomes.
β’ Background in leading cross-functional, matrixed teams within a consulting or professional services delivery model.
β’ Experience overseeing project financials, forecasts, utilization, resource plans, scope alignment, and commercial impacts.
β’ Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid project management methodologies.
β’ Experience facilitating executive meetings, steering committees, status reviews, working sessions, and issue-resolution forums.
β’ Strong written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
β’ Excellent customer service skills and a demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction, delivery quality, and professional integrity.
β’ Experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, OpenAir, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
β’ Advanced proficiency in creating executive-ready status reports, governance packs, dashboards, financial summaries, and decision materials.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Ability to establish structure in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments and function effectively with minimal supervision.
β’ Demonstrated leadership, accountability for outcomes, sound judgment, adaptability, and consistent follow-through.
β’ Capacity to mentor team members and influence stakeholders while maintaining appropriate boundaries and accountability.
