Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, strategize, and oversee the scope, resources, timelines, budget, and risks associated with large, complex projects.

• Lead analyses on cost-benefit, forecasts for return on investment, project proposals, charters, risk assessments, and project timelines.

• Monitor and assess actual project outcomes.

• Conduct scope analysis and document insights gained from lessons learned.

• Create and manage project schedules effectively.

• Identify and engage stakeholders while establishing project governance.

• Determine project team resources and secure the necessary personnel.

• Develop and oversee project budgets.

• Clearly communicate roles and expectations to project teams.

• Escalate issues and propose solutions to stakeholders and project teams.

• Create and deliver presentations, status updates, and other relevant information tailored to the audience.

• Identify risk triggers and communicate circumstances to project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders.

• Mentor and serve as a resource for other Project Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 4 years of experience leading all facets of large, complex projects.

• More than 4 years of experience with standard project management methodologies, tools, and/or software applications.

• Proven ability to act as a core decision-maker with a balanced consideration of business issues.

• Capacity to drive results through informal authority and to serve as a consultant to key business partners.

• Proficient in eliciting cooperation from Senior Management and other departments.

• Exceptional written, verbal communication, and analytical skills.

• Ability to interpret and convey information to both technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization.

• Competence in identifying, developing, and securing the necessary resources to complete a project.

• Discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties.

• For remote or hybrid roles, demonstrate high engagement in virtual settings, including maintaining camera presence during meetings.

• Experience with Supply Chain operations is preferred.

• Must adhere to VSP Vision Information Security and Privacy Policies.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment substance abuse testing.
