This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee technical commercial real estate projects through all phases including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Engage directly with clients to outline scopes of work, determine resource needs, prepare cost estimates, budgets, schedules, ensure quality control, and identify risks.
• Document IT requirements and work collaboratively with project teams to establish technology solutions.
• Define project delivery resources using pre-qualified lists or through a project qualification process.
• Conduct requests for proposals, perform bid evaluations, and make resource recommendations to clients.
• Implement project documentation governance that aligns with both company and client standards.
• Ensure the integrity of project data and produce accurate, timely, and coordinated documentation.
• Guide architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors by providing mentorship and direction.
• Create action plans to achieve objectives, adhere to budgets, and maintain schedules.
• Monitor project progress and report on status and variances.
• Recognize potential project threats and formulate risk mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Execute action plans to minimize or eliminate project-related risks.
• Utilize standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex tasks and deliver innovative solutions.
• Mentor colleagues and share industry-related knowledge.
• Exemplify leadership by modeling CBRE RISE values.
• Build consensus and persuade others to achieve agreement.
• Influence customer, operational, project, and service activities across interconnected teams.
• Comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Preferred designations include LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM.
• Experience in IT construction covering network setup/design, voice/data cabling, telephony, wireless, audio-visual, security access and monitoring, and sound masking.
• General understanding of leases, contracts, and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• May require up to 25% overnight travel across the US.
