This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee strategic initiatives from their inception to successful delivery.
• Ensure that project goals, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, registers, and documentation.
• Effectively allocate and manage project resources.
• Provide consistent updates and progress reports to project sponsors and programme boards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for project governance, planning, and execution.
• Engage and coordinate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and end users throughout the duration of projects.
• Ensure alignment and adoption among stakeholders.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and scope adjustments associated with the project.
• Assist in the development of business cases for project approval and funding.
• Advocate for best practices in project management.
• Provide coaching and support to colleagues within the charity.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of project management frameworks, templates, and documentation.
• Extensive experience in successfully delivering projects from initiation to completion within established timelines and budgets.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities concurrently.
• Strong skills in planning, monitoring, and reporting.
• Ability to communicate progress against key milestones and outcomes effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in influencing and building relationships across all levels.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Diplomatic and collaborative approach to working across functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experienced with Microsoft Project or comparable project management software.
• A recognized project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, is essential.
• An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required.
• References to cover any employment or education gaps are required.
