Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct Product, Technology, and Lean Management initiatives

• Collaborate with Product Owners, IT personnel, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to define project scopes

• Create and execute comprehensive project plans

• Ensure projects are delivered within specified timelines and budgets

• Lead project team members through all phases of the project lifecycle

• Develop, implement, and manage project planning activities

• Handle a portfolio of high-visibility and complex technology-oriented projects

• Organize project kickoff meetings, weekly status updates, work breakdown sessions, status tracking, reporting, and closure processes

• Assign and reassign tasks to suitable team members

• Address issues and eliminate obstacles that pose risks to project success

• Resolve team-related challenges and make decisions in partnership with PCS management

• Set project execution standards and establish meeting frequencies

• Consistently utilize project management tools in accordance with program management protocols

• Collaborate with Product Owners and IT personnel on technology-driven projects

• Conduct quality control during the development of projects

• Manage incoming project requests and change controls

• Facilitate decision-making regarding project scope, costs, resources, and timelines with both internal and external stakeholders

• Enhance project management practices and tools across the organization

• Mentor team members, business partners, and stakeholders on best practices in project management

• Lead discussions on ROI calculations and document anticipated returns

• Communicate with senior leadership to ensure project alignment with organizational objectives

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or a related field is highly preferred

• Over 5 years of extensive project management experience in the financial services sector

• Project Management certifications such as PMP, CSM, and/or SAFE Agilist are highly desirable

• Familiarity with agile and waterfall project methodologies

• Experience leading agile scrum teams in a remote setting

• Ideally, a minimum of 2 years of experience as a SCRUM master

• Experience managing cross-functional remote project teams of varying sizes

• Knowledge of project management strategies based on team size

• Demonstrated experience in business and technical analysis

• Proven track record in business process modeling/mapping

• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities

• Capacity to work under constant deadline pressure

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with geographically dispersed remote teams

• Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills

• Experience presenting to senior executives, decision-makers, and external stakeholders

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and navigate through ambiguity

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Family care arrangements must be in place during business hours for virtual remote work
