Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead intricate, multi-workstream NetSuite implementations from the initiation phase through to post-go-live support.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams on complex projects.

• Maintain senior client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.

• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

• Develop project plans that outline scope, objectives, success criteria, timelines, resources, and associated risks.

• Adapt plans as priorities evolve.

• Manage client expectations while providing clear updates on progress and challenges.

• Conduct status meetings and swiftly address client concerns.

• Lead project teams and delegate tasks to ensure alignment with objectives.

• Mentor team members, including junior project managers.

• Resolve conflicts that may hinder project progress.

• Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet company standards.

• Facilitate post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.

• Stay updated on industry trends and project management best practices.

• Advocate for continuous improvement within the team.

• Assist in creating processes for future complex engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• 4-5+ years of experience managing ERP implementation projects, demonstrating full project lifecycle ownership.

• Experience overseeing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional resources on medium to large-scale ERP projects.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to manage senior client stakeholders as well as internal teams.

• Proven organizational skills with a history of keeping complex projects on track.

• Comfortable juggling multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar).

• Previous experience in a NetSuite project environment is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are beneficial, although not required.

• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies is an asset, though not essential.

• Experience mentoring fellow project managers is a plus, though not essential.

• Experience managing executive-level stakeholders and escalations is a plus, though not essential.
