Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning and execution of medium to large-scale power delivery projects of varying complexity.

• Assist in business development by engaging in project scoping, fee formulation, proposal drafting, interviews, negotiations, and contract formulation.

• Establish project scope, work methodologies, sequences, timelines, budgets, staffing, vendor lists, and billing milestones post-project award.

• Collaborate with client management to address issues and secure project completion approvals.

• Foster ongoing business relationships with clients as part of continuous business development efforts.

• Strategically plan, organize, communicate, and coordinate project engagements.

• Oversee daily activities related to project engagements, including interactions with clients and project teams.

• Ensure achievement of project quality, scope, budget, and schedule goals.

• Evaluate project performance and resource allocation.

• Recognize potential out-of-scope work.

• Administer and negotiate contract change orders.

• Identify and manage project risks from the proposal stage through to project completion.

• Train, mentor, and supervise other Project Managers.

• Conduct and engage in portfolio and project reviews.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution (preferred but not mandatory).

• Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred but not mandatory).

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred but not mandatory).

• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the Power Delivery Industry, including a minimum of 5 years in project management.

• Solid understanding of financial management principles.

• Proven success in managing large multi-discipline programs, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects concurrently.

• Comprehensive knowledge of various types of power delivery projects, such as transmission, substations, and distribution systems.

• Excellent relationship development and management skills.

• Prior experience with customers is preferred.

• Experience leading transmission, substation, and distribution projects is preferred.
