Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct multiple simultaneous, complex, and high-profile initiatives from the planning stage through to delivery and transition.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior management to establish project outcomes, scope, requirements, deliverables, and success metrics.

• Create and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and responsibilities.

• Facilitate cross-functional execution and ensure accountability among teams and senior stakeholders.

• Eliminate obstacles, resolve issues, and achieve the desired project results.

• Anticipate risks and decision-making junctures, drive resolutions independently, and escalate issues with well-defined recommendations when necessary.

• Manage modifications to scope, priorities, or timelines by evaluating impacts, suggesting trade-offs, and securing stakeholder alignment.

• Provide project updates and strategic recommendations to senior and executive leadership.

• Enhance PMO processes, governance, and delivery methodologies.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in leading complex, highly cross-functional initiatives.

• Demonstrated capability to independently manage high-impact projects with organizational complexity, competing priorities, and executive exposure.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong judgment with the capacity to foresee challenges and facilitate resolutions with limited oversight.

• Effective stakeholder management skills and a strong executive presence.

• Ability to influence, challenge, and ensure accountability without direct authority.

• Highly organized and proactive, with remarkable follow-through.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments.

• Proficient in working with both technical and non-technical teams and translating complex information into actionable strategies.

• Familiarity with project management platforms such as monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, ClickUp, or similar tools.

• Comfortable utilizing modern collaboration and AI tools.

• Experience in healthcare, health tech, SaaS, or other fast-paced sectors is preferred.

• PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
