Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of multiple simultaneous client projects, managing the scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder engagement.

• Tackle the most challenging and high-visibility projects within the portfolio.

• Function as a consultative partner to clients by foreseeing potential issues, guiding strategic decisions, and safeguarding project outcomes.

• Establish and uphold delivery standards through the use of internal processes, tools, and documentation such as backlogs, schedules, status reports, and governance frameworks.

• Provide mentorship and skill development for other project managers and delivery team members.

• Act as a subject matter expert and an exemplar of effective project management practices.

• Manage billable and utilization goals while balancing the needs of multiple clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of project management experience in professional services or consulting delivery.

• At least 6 years of experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements.

• An active Top Secret federal security clearance.

• Proven experience supporting Department of War (DoW) clients or programs.

• A track record of successfully leading complex, high-risk, or high-visibility projects to positive outcomes.

• Strong proficiency in traditional and agile delivery methodologies, including backlog management, iteration planning, and collaboration with product owners.

• Proficient in Jira and Confluence.

• History of adhering to and enforcing standard delivery processes.

• Ability to thrive in a lean, rapidly changing environment.

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or similar agile certification is preferred.

• Atlassian certifications, including Jira and Confluence, are preferred.

• Relevant AI-delivery or tooling certifications are preferred.

• Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug testing.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
