Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete delivery of ERP implementation projects.

• Develop and sustain robust client relationships that contribute to inecta’s profitability and strategic objectives.

• Recognize and pursue new business opportunities through established client connections.

• Manage client expectations and address concerns while minimizing escalations.

• Lead client engagements and strive to maintain high client satisfaction.

• Drive proactive, strategically planned execution across various projects.

• Ensure that assigned resources complete their tasks on time and provide regular status updates.

• Evaluate and escalate risks appropriately, keeping stakeholders informed.

• Identify deviations early and implement corrective measures.

• Anticipate and manage financial risks associated with budgets.

• Handle client change orders and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

• Maintain and communicate precise scope and budget status.

• Respond swiftly to communications and follow up on outstanding items.

• Propel workstreams forward with minimal oversight.

• Lead internal initiatives and establish delivery standards.

• Train, mentor, and coach fellow project managers.

• Advocate for onboarding, documentation, and the overall maturity of team processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, MIS, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

• Knowledge of current technology trends and AI tools; hands-on experience with Claude is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills; able to engage confidently in discussions with both internal teams and clients.

• Self-motivated individual who works effectively independently and as part of a team.

• Proven experience in delivering ERP or SaaS implementation projects.

• Successfully managed over 10 projects with budgets exceeding $100K, including comprehensive lifecycle planning, execution, budget management, and delivery.

• Required experience with complex projects such as ERP or construction.

• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is a significant advantage.

• Established track record of independently handling client issues and engaging in challenging conversations with stakeholders.

• Successfully mitigate escalations by proactively managing expectations.

• Proven ability to foresee budget risks.

• Managed client change orders, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.

• Trusted for dependable financial oversight.

• Demonstrated history of proactive, plan-driven project execution, using the project plan as the primary guide for tasks and timelines.

• Proven ability to effectively manage high-pressure situations with clients and internally.

• History of juggling multiple tasks while preserving strong relationships.

• Demonstrates proactive communication and collaboration across teams.

• Track record of mentoring and coaching other project managers.

• Proven history of initiating process improvements, tooling, and delivery standards that enhance the broader team.

• Must be willing and able to travel 15% to 20% of the time.

• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport.

• Physically and mentally capable and willing to navigate food client facilities, which includes standing and walking for extended periods, exposure to loud noises, bright or flashing lights, climbing stairs and ladders, and wearing protective/sanitary gear.

• Proximity to food products, including raw meat and/or live animals.

• Ability to respond to visual and auditory safety signals.
