Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage global, cross-functional study teams to effectively execute clinical studies.

• Propel study timelines, ensure quality, manage budgets, and achieve key milestones.

• Serve as the primary liaison between study teams, programme teams, CROs, and external vendors.

• Supervise outsourced study operations and guarantee that appropriate vendor oversight is upheld.

• Direct study planning, risk management, issue resolution, and escalation procedures.

• Track study performance utilizing project management and reporting tools, identifying risks and applying mitigation strategies.

• Ensure the completeness of the Trial Master File (TMF) and readiness for inspections throughout the study lifecycle.

• Oversee study budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.

• Assist in audits and regulatory inspections as the lead for study operations.

• Contribute to process enhancements and offer mentorship to junior colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or a relevant field.

• At least 7 years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.

• A minimum of 2 years' project management experience leading global clinical studies.

• A strong comprehension of ICH-GCP, clinical trial regulations, and study management processes.

• Proven ability to manage studies throughout the entire clinical trial lifecycle.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Experience in managing study budgets, timelines, vendors, and risk mitigation efforts.

• Proficiency in clinical trial management systems and project management tools.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based.
