This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Plan and oversee intricate projects or programs that involve multiple workstreams, offices, bureaus, commands, contractors, or stakeholder organizations.
• Develop project management methodologies, integrated schedules, work breakdown structures, governance rhythms, performance baselines, quality controls, and reporting mechanisms.
• Manage scope, schedule, costs, staffing, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, changes, deliverables, acceptance, and project closure.
• Convert contract, statutory, policy, program, technical, and stakeholder requirements into actionable plans, milestones, backlogs, and task assignments.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams of Government and contractors, coordinating with functional, technical, data, cybersecurity, acquisition, financial, and operational experts.
• Facilitate program evaluations, integrated project teams, governance meetings, risk assessments, sprint reviews, and executive decision-making sessions.
• Create forecasts, corrective action strategies, alternatives, decision documentation, executive presentations, and Government-ready status updates.
• Ensure traceability of requirements and deliverables, guaranteeing that work products are accurate, timely, defensible, and compliant with contractual obligations.
• Assist with implementation, organizational change, communication, training, transition, adoption, benefits realization, and sustainment planning.
• Align project goals, outcomes, and acceptance criteria with the agency’s mission, policies, acquisition strategies, funding, and operational priorities.
• Develop and sustain integrated project plans, timelines, resource forecasts, risk and issue registers, action logs, decision logs, and performance dashboards.
• Track progress using tools like GitHub or Jira, employing predictive, adaptive, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Coordinate dependencies among policy, business processes, workforce, data, technology, security, privacy, accessibility, procurement, and deployment activities.
• Manage communications with Government leads, contracting staff, executives, end users, vendors, and partner organizations.
• Safeguard procurement-sensitive, proprietary, personally identifiable, controlled, unclassified, and other sensitive information.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring accountability for scope, decisions, approvals, and results.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business, public administration, project management, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in project management, program management, operations, or management consulting.
• 10+ years of experience supporting Federal civilian, defense, intelligence, military, or similar public-sector organizations.
• 10+ years of experience leading complex projects, major workstreams, multidisciplinary teams, or transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience in managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, staffing, stakeholders, and contract deliverables.
• Demonstrated capability to advise senior Government leaders and translate complex information into decisions and actionable steps.
• Documented achievements in enhancing mission effectiveness, timeliness, quality, cost, compliance, customer satisfaction, or workforce performance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
