Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the lead project management authority for designated IT Operations & Maintenance (O&M) tasks.

• Strategically plan, organize, and oversee project activities to ensure successful achievement of project goals.

• Create and implement a suitable project management framework.

• Develop, sustain, and execute the Project Management Plan.

• Organize and oversee project schedules, activities, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.

• Manage the production and delivery of essential project deliverables.

• Identify, assess, and manage project risks effectively.

• Formulate contingency plans and mitigation strategies for recognized risks.

• Track overall project advancement and resource usage.

• Initiate corrective measures when project performance, timelines, resources, or deliverables necessitate adjustments.

• Oversee project change control and configuration management tasks.

• Facilitate system modifications through established change management protocols.

• Ensure relevant system and security impact analyses are conducted for proposed alterations.

• Coordinate system change evaluations and implementations with various vendors and technical teams.

• Act as a liaison with the Program Management Office and associated projects.

• Maintain project reporting standards and disseminate project status through the appropriate reporting channels.

• Collaborate with project assurance personnel to uphold project direction and integrity.

• Establish and sustain technical and quality strategies.

• Identify and acquire necessary technical support and subject matter expertise.

• Monitor project performance against set objectives and requirements.

• Conduct evaluations at the end of the project and post-project assessments.

• Prepare final project reports and post-project analyses.

• Execute additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in project management.

• Experience in managing IT projects that involve multiple technical disciplines, stakeholders, or vendors.

• Proficiency in developing project plans, schedules, status updates, risk evaluations, and project deliverables.

• In-depth knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, planning, scheduling, risk management, and change control.

• Familiarity with IT operations and maintenance environments.

• Understanding of project governance, quality assurance, and configuration management.

• Capability to manage several technical activities, resources, schedules, and deliverables effectively.

• Must successfully pass a background investigation.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
