This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Manage one or more medium-sized project management teams by supervising smaller components of a larger technological initiative.

• Actively participate in project execution.

• Support staffing efforts and oversee assigned personnel by providing guidance and setting deadlines.

• Engage with clients, company executives, and project team leaders.

• Assess and relay project metrics while suggesting program modifications.

• Ensure high quality of project outputs throughout all program phases.

• Develop objectives, timelines, program specifications, and budgets.

• Identify and alleviate risks through status reports and project updates.

• Create comprehensive statements of work for clients.

• Secure stakeholder consensus and approval on the scope of work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives throughout the entire project management life cycle.

• At least 3 years of experience with Medicaid and Medicare is preferred.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Contemporary knowledge of budget development, control, and assurance techniques.

• Proficient in project management software.

• Capability to convert broader program goals into clear and attainable project milestones.

• Leadership skills to train, mentor, and guide junior team members.

• Excellent executive presentation skills and effective communication.

• Innovative problem-solving skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel 0–10% of the time.
