This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee numerous software implementation projects throughout the United States.
• Guide projects through the entire lifecycle, encompassing initiation, planning, execution, performance tracking, communication, coordination, quality assurance, budgeting, and reporting.
• Recognize and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
• Implement change management controls.
• Identify, mitigate, and oversee implementation risks utilizing established processes and tools.
• Define project scope and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
• Set milestones and monitor compliance with plans and schedules.
• Estimate and ensure the availability and allocation of necessary resources.
• Communicate and collaborate across both executive and non-executive organizational levels, both internally and externally.
• Manage project documentation and prepare operational handovers.
• Handle communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors.
• Keep project owners and stakeholders updated on risks, scope deviations, and issues or opportunities related to resources, schedules, or budgets.
• Actively manage project scope, timelines, quality, goals, and deliverables in conjunction with senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project status meetings with clients.
• Build and sustain business relationships essential for project success.
• Set and manage expectations with team members and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, issue logs, action-item registers, and presentations.
• Contribute to best practices and tools in project execution and management.
• Conduct project closeouts and create recommendation reports along with lessons-learned documentation.
• Analyze customer needs and propose new or enhanced processes that support equivalent software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related experience.
• Over 5 years of experience managing fixed-price and time-and-materials software implementation projects.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Proficient communication skills for engaging with all levels of technical and operational management, including both written and oral presentation abilities.
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Excellent consulting and business analysis skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple diverse projects with competing deadlines.
• Strategic planning and critical thinking abilities.
• Flexibility in work hours to coordinate with teams across different US time zones.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including potential weekend and nighttime activities as needed.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
• Preferred: Knowledge or experience with the US judicial system.
• Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, or CBAP certification.
• Preferred: Experience in management consultancy, professional services, or a similar in-house function.
• Preferred: Strong technical background in software development and web technologies.
• Preferred: Proficiency in MS Project.
