This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Convert research initiatives into concrete, actionable project plans alongside RPI colleagues.
• Oversee the entire project life cycle, managing scope, resources, risks, issues, and timelines.
• Lead multiple simultaneous research and process-improvement projects within the RPI portfolio.
• Implement and continually enhance project management best practices and tools.
• Monitor and convey project status, risks, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
• Promote collaboration across teams and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Engage effectively with all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to executives.
• Embody ESO values and lead by example.
• Report to the Portfolio Director of the EPMO while receiving day-to-day tasks from the Vice President of Data Strategy and Research.
• Proven experience in delivering projects that involve multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of research processes and the journey from concept to publication.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and awareness of new project management and data practices.
• Familiarity with project, process, stakeholder, budget, and risk management.
• Capability to fulfill commitments in ambiguous and evolving environments.
• Ability to adjust swiftly and maintain effectiveness in new situations.
• Skill in building relationships and establishing trust rapidly.
• Experience within research, data, or analytics-driven teams is advantageous.
• Background in first responder, healthcare, or SaaS industries is beneficial.
