Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Supervise the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within established timelines, scope, quality, and budget constraints.

• Coordinate cross-functional resources and effectively manage team dynamics.

• Engage with clients and stakeholders, balancing technical and operational needs.

• Align project results with overarching business objectives.

• Ensure compliance with project management, reporting, governance, and quality standards.

• Operate within Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

• Configure MDO software and assist team members in configuration tasks.

• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions that adhere to industry best practices.

• Support the creation, review, and execution of test cases based on acceptance criteria.

• Complete and standardize project documentation, including design, implementation, test scripts, use cases, and knowledge transfer materials.

• Identify, debug, track, and report testing issues.

• Monitor project burn, effort utilization, cycle time, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource usage.

• Recognize delivery risks and implement corrective measures.

• Understand client business needs and define project scope accordingly.

• Identify changes, additions, and gaps in requirements, presenting solution alternatives.

• Communicate any deviations from the Business Blueprint or Statement of Work.

• Initiate and manage change requests effectively.

• Facilitate functional and project discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Report on project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.

• Secure stakeholder support for resolution of issues.

• Build cooperative relationships with business functions, partners, customers, and internal teams.

• Evaluate and communicate the risks and benefits associated with solution alternatives.

• Lead, motivate, and develop project teams.

• Identify talent gaps and promote upskilling and knowledge development.

• Implement strategies for team retention and development.

• Drive continuous improvement in team performance and delivery standards.

• Encourage training, certifications, product updates, and professional growth.

• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven team culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Engineering degree, ideally with a focus in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• 14–20 years of overall experience, with substantial expertise in project management and the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC).

• Strong grasp of project management methodologies and practices.

• Solid understanding of SAP ERP.

• Good comprehension of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, processes, and practices.

• Familiarity with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.

• Practical experience with project collaboration and tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.

• Willingness to work across various global time zones.
