Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of extensive healthcare software implementations across NHS Trusts, hospitals, and various healthcare organizations.

• Manage the complete project lifecycle, from project initiation to customer acceptance and transition to support.

• Deliver large-scale, intricate enterprise software projects within active healthcare environments.

• Create and uphold project plans, timelines, forecasts, risk assessments, issues, and all related project documentation.

• Lead project governance, oversee reporting, and facilitate customer-oriented project meetings.

• Coordinate the internal delivery, development, services, and third-party supplier teams.

• Ensure project delivery meets contractual obligations, budgetary constraints, quality standards, and timelines.

• Oversee project transitions from Sales to Support teams.

• Promote ongoing enhancements of project management processes and tools.

• Attend or travel to the office on the first day for onboarding activities, which include identity verification, documentation collection, equipment retrieval, introductions, and orientation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified as a PRINCE2 Practitioner.

• Possess a degree or equivalent experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in delivering large, complex projects in the UK healthcare sector.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a software, healthcare technology, or IT solutions organization.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise-scale software implementations, typically involving 1,000–3,000 delivery days.

• Experience in managing risks, issues, project governance, and customer acceptance processes.

• Valid full UK driving licence.

• Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland.

• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.

• Capability to utilize AI technologies to enhance processes and outcomes.

• Fundamental understanding of AI concepts.

• Ability to showcase the use of AI tools in a professional context.
