Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee all phases of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

• Create, communicate, and execute operational strategies for successful project outcomes.

• Track progress and performance relative to project timelines.

• Address operational challenges and minimize potential delays.

• Identify, cultivate, and assemble necessary project resources.

• Develop designs and detailed work specifications.

• Create project timelines, budgets, and financial forecasts.

• Choose materials, equipment, project personnel, and external contractors.

• Obtain specialized resources and support from various operational sectors.

• Facilitate meetings and generate project status updates.

• Prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and coordinate project teams to achieve objectives and milestones.

• Shape departmental strategy and make informed decisions regarding technical methodologies for project elements.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in both traditional project management and Agile methodologies.

• At least 3 years of experience in leading complex projects or programs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver results in a matrixed setting.

• A strong desire to contribute to an organization dedicated to enhancing consumer experiences.

• Experience across various business sectors, technical teams, vendors, and leadership stakeholders is preferred.

• Project management certification, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or a similar credential, is preferred.

• Training in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, change management, or process improvement may be advantageous.
