Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take the lead on complex projects and engagements independently, managing multiple workstreams, stakeholder groups, vendors, and delivery dependencies.

• Ensure that delivery activities are aligned with the desired outcomes for clients.

• Develop and sustain integrated plans that encompass workstreams, milestones, teams, vendors, and dependencies.

• Navigate cross-functional contributors through periods of ambiguity and shifting priorities.

• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, commercial aspects, and delivery-recovery tradeoffs.

• Safeguard quality, acceptance criteria, operational readiness, team well-being, and delivery commitments throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify potential risks and constraints, formulate contingency and recovery plans, and escalate significant issues with thorough analysis and recommendations.

• Lead governance meetings and discussions with stakeholders.

• Communicate the health of delivery, options, impacts, decisions, and necessary actions.

• Manage project financials, forecasts, change requests, resource requirements, commitments, and delivery variances.

• Oversee technical delivery across Adobe Experience Cloud platforms and their integrations.

• Align workstreams, data flows, environments, and deployment dependencies effectively.

• Coordinate platform implementations, integrations, migrations, and promotion of environments from development and QA to staging and production.

• Guide Associate Project Managers and Project Managers through mentorship, plan reviews, and practical delivery advice.

• Enhance project standards, reusable practices, reporting, and lessons learned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent practical experience in managing projects or engagements.

• Proven ability to independently lead complex projects involving multiple workstreams, stakeholder groups, dependencies, vendors, or significant delivery risks.

• Strong expertise in integrated project planning, scope and change control, scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, quality assurance, governance, and delivery reporting.

• Sound judgment in resolving conflicting priorities and making recommendations regarding scope, schedule, budget, resource, or recovery tradeoffs.

• Experience in anticipating delivery risks, crafting mitigation or recovery plans, and escalating crucial decisions with actionable recommendations.

• Proficient in managing project financials, forecasts, commitments, change requests, and delivery variances.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to lead complex stakeholder discussions and present decision-ready options to senior audiences.

• Capable of coordinating cross-functional client and internal teams through ambiguity, shifting priorities, and varying delivery conditions.

• Experience in coaching or mentoring less experienced project delivery professionals.

• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud platforms, including AEP, RTCDP, AJO, CJA, AEM, Adobe Commerce, Workfront, or Marketo Engage, as applicable.

• Understanding of technical integration dependencies, data flows, multi-environment delivery, and release or deployment coordination across development, QA, staging, and production.

• Experience with Agile, scaled Agile, or CI/CD-enabled delivery models, as well as complex cross-team integration efforts.

• Candidates must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% based on project and client needs.

• Maintain an 85% utilization target.
