This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Manage a portfolio of large and intricate commercial glazing projects independently, ranging from $3 million to $15 million, from the award phase through to closeout.
• Act as the primary contact for general contractors, construction executives, architects, and owners.
• Initiate project kickoffs, establish project controls, and create execution plans for curtain wall, storefront, and specialty glazing systems.
• Coordinate schedules for fabrication, delivery, and field installation.
• Track financial performance, prepare cost-to-complete forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
• Oversee submittals, shop drawings, Requests for Information (RFIs), and change orders.
• Manage performance mock-up testing as well as code-required field/laboratory testing.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
• Offer constructability insights and pricing strategies during the bidding process.
• Identify risks associated with projects and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Direct closeout activities, including inspections, punch lists, warranties, and final billing.
• Cultivate relationships with general contractors to facilitate business development.
• Engage in division leadership meetings and contribute to project management process enhancements.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or at least 5 years of direct experience in commercial glazing project management in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience in commercial glazing or specialized construction.
• Proven track record of managing projects valued between $3 million and $15 million.
• Familiarity with ACM and other façade products/systems.
• In-depth technical knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, window wall, and specialty glazing systems.
• Advanced skills in interpreting construction documents, specifications, and architectural details.
• Experience in leadership and mentoring to develop junior team members.
• Strong financial insight, including budget management, cost forecasting, and margin analysis.
• Skills in executive-level negotiation and client relationship management.
• Proficiency in Procore, Viewpoint, or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with unitized or panelized curtain wall systems, factory-fabricated panel assemblies, and crane/rigging logistics is advantageous.
• PMP certification, LEED AP credential, or equivalent industry certification preferred.
• Experience with design-assist or design-build delivery methods is preferred.
