Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee various simultaneous exterior construction and restoration projects from inception to completion.

• Develop, implement, and enhance project management systems, tracking tools, workflows, and communication protocols.

• Assign tasks to remote team members and field crews to ensure accountability and equitable workload distribution.

• Coordinate activities among subcontractors, field crews, superintendents, remote personnel, vendors, clients, architects, and engineers.

• Maintain project timelines, monitor milestones, handle delays, and eliminate operational bottlenecks.

• Manage budgets, change orders, procurement, and material deliveries to ensure project viability and timelines.

• Organize material shipments and field resources.

• Supervise RFIs, submittals, permits, field reports, progress updates, change orders, and project documentation.

• Ensure adherence to NYC/NYS building codes, safety regulations, and public project requirements.

• Regularly communicate with property managers, NYC/NYS agency representatives, engineers, and internal leadership.

• Collaborate closely with the Principal to oversee and optimize projects while supporting scalable operational growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, particularly with US-based projects.

• Background in exterior construction, façade restoration, roofing, waterproofing, masonry, concrete, or similar specialty trades.

• Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks efficiently, set PM processes/KPIs, and manage multi-disciplinary teams both in-office and remotely.

• Willingness to adopt or utilize modern project management tools and platforms.

• Proven success in establishing scalable systems, workflows, and clear KPIs in chaotic project environments.

• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.

• Capable of working proactively, independently, and without substantial supervision.

• Familiarity with NYC/NYS building codes, Local Law 11/FISP, landmark regulations, public works projects, and sidewalk shed/scaffolding setups is preferred.

• Hands-on experience managing complex exterior restoration projects is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical industry experience is preferred.

• Established connections or previous collaboration with NYC architects, engineers, property managers, DOB inspectors, and contractors is preferred.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST.
