Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee various high-impact data initiatives

• Implement outcome-based tracking frameworks

• Contribute to the evolution of the internal delivery model for AI-enhanced builds

• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders as a trusted advisor

• Define how delivery capabilities are packaged and marketed commercially

• Manage multiple streams of initiatives and project backlogs

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Playbacks, and Stand-ups

• Assist customers and team members in prioritizing workloads to enhance delivery value

• Identify and address risks while working with the team to resolve obstacles

• Promote continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and applying lessons learned

• Share expertise internally and with the broader data community

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in consultancy or client-facing roles

• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-stream initiatives involving senior stakeholders

• Strong commercial insight, particularly in scope control and risk assessment

• Experience in delivering cloud, data, or analytics platforms

• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub projects, or similar tools for backlog management

• Comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile or Scrum

• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to assist customers and team members in prioritizing workloads effectively

• Experience in facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Playbacks, and Stand-ups

• Competence in quickly and clearly identifying and mitigating risks

• Familiarity with modern data platforms, such as Databricks or Azure, is preferred

• Exposure to AI-assisted engineering or automation delivery is advantageous

• Understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture and implementation patterns is a plus

• Must reside within the UK

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% for customer and team visits
