Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete Business Solution Design for Tier 2 Architecture and manage the development and implementation at a multinational, regional, or global function level.

• Direct project execution in line with company protocols, cybersecurity regulations, project objectives, quality benchmarks, safety standards, and budget and schedule goals.

• Lead project teams by establishing guidelines, delegating tasks, inspiring, and supervising both internal and external resources.

• Mentor, develop, and provide constructive feedback to members of the project team.

• Ensure adherence to ABB methodology, internal policies, procedures, and the ABB Gate Model throughout the projects.

• Create and secure approval for project business cases.

• Develop project charters and MS Project plans.

• Organize, monitor, and manage activities, stage gates, resources, costs, financials, risks, and opportunities.

• Formalize project acceptance, finalize activities, and prepare handover documentation and training materials.

• Manage consultancy partners and solution integrators effectively.

• Plan and monitor project activities to ensure timely delivery of projects.

• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders and a point of escalation.

• Formulate and implement stakeholder management and change management plans.

• Identify and schedule document deliverables in collaboration with the NewGen PMO.

• Monitor document progress and follow up on overdue comments from the NewGen PMO and Gate Assessors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience managing the execution of internal strategic business projects at multinational, regional, or global function levels, utilizing internal and/or third-party resources.

• Demonstrated project management expertise and experience.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Proven capability to work effectively in international teams.

• Certification: PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe), or ABB Program PM Certified in accordance with 2YAD100055 IS Function Standard_IS Project Manager Certification.
