Senior Project Management Consultant – Municipal Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee municipal capital and program-management projects, focusing on scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.

• Convert city priorities into actionable work plans, governance frameworks, decision logs, and deliverables.

• Facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary consultants, client departments, and community or stakeholder inputs.

• Develop status reports, resolve issues, and create executive briefings for leadership in public agencies.

• Contribute to AlphaGov proposals by providing municipal project-management qualifications and past-performance narratives when authorized.

• Engage in project-based teamwork dependent on contract award and final staffing approval.

• Travel to client locations as necessary on occasion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in project or program management for city, county, or other public-agency capital programs.

• Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, milestones, budgets, risks, and client deliverables from start to finish.

• Comfortable working as a 1099/project-based collaborator with required travel for client site visits.

• Experience with capital improvement programs, infrastructure, facilities, or municipal modernization initiatives.

• Possession of PMP, CCM, or a similar project-management certification.

• Previous consulting experience with Columbus or Ohio public agencies.
