Senior Project Consultant – Modern Work & Endpoint

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee assessment and design stages; create design documents and secure customer approval prior to construction or transition.

• Create and deploy Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot enrollment, configuration and compliance policies, application distributions, update cycles, and migrations from Group Policy or Configuration Manager.

• Implement Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels, data loss prevention measures, and retention policies.

• Prepare tenants for Microsoft 365 Copilot by conducting oversharing and access reviews, verifying licensing prerequisites, and designing pilot programs.

• Configure Microsoft 365 security baselines utilizing Entra ID Conditional Access and MFA, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, and enhancements to Secure Score.

• Execute projects in accordance with approved Statements of Work; identify changes in scope and facilitate change-order processes.

• Assess level of effort and review proposed scope for Modern Work initiatives.

• Generate assessment reports, design documents, runbooks, and as-built documentation.

• Provide mentorship to consultants regarding endpoint management and Purview.

• Update the Project Manager and practice leadership on status.

• Accurately record time, expenses, and project activities in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years delivering Microsoft 365 and endpoint management solutions, with at least 3 years in a consulting or professional services capacity.

• Possess at least one current certification: Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102), Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate (SC-401), or Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102).

• Experience leading an Intune and Autopilot deployment for over 500 devices, including at least one migration from Group Policy or Configuration Manager to Intune.

• Implemented Microsoft Purview (labels, DLP, retention) for a regulated or multi-entity customer.

• Rolled out Entra ID Conditional Access and MFA in production environments, including hybrid-joined devices.

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing (E3, E5, F1 and F3, Business plans, add-ons) and familiarity with license reviews or renewal strategies.

• Proficient in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation for tenant and endpoint management.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences; capable of producing design documents that receive customer approval.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Azure fundamentals in relation to Microsoft 365 and endpoint tasks, including virtual networks, VPN and ExpressRoute connectivity, network security groups, and Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows 365 (AZ-104, AZ-700, or AZ-140).

• Preferred: Experience in managing macOS, iOS, and Android devices in Intune, including familiarity with Apple Business Manager.

• Preferred: Experience with migrations from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.

• Preferred: Involvement in Microsoft 365 Copilot pilots or readiness assessments, and possession of Microsoft Copilot or AI credentials.

• Preferred: SC-300 Identity and Access Administrator or SC-100 Cybersecurity Architect certifications.

• Preferred: Background in a Microsoft partner, Microsoft Consulting Services, or FastTrack delivery role.
