This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of comprehensive program management for significant, high-visibility Enterprise Technology, AI & Data projects, which includes defining scope, developing roadmaps, managing dependencies, planning resources, tracking execution, and overseeing change management.
β’ Spearhead enterprise applications and operational transformation initiatives that enhance business processes, boost scalability, and minimize friction for internal teams.
β’ Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify objectives, establish success metrics, assess trade-offs, and convert strategy into actionable plans.
β’ Facilitate operating rhythms across various programs, which encompasses status reporting, RAID management, milestone evaluations, and communications suitable for executive audiences.
β’ Proactively identify program risks, gaps, and blockers; propose practical solutions and facilitate timely decision-making with stakeholders and senior leaders.
β’ Enhance program delivery through improved governance, documentation, planning practices, and cross-functional collaboration.
β’ Assist in the adoption of AI-driven workflows and automation opportunities that boost productivity across enterprise systems and operations.
β’ Foster a high-trust, async-first culture by exemplifying GitLab values, ensuring clear communication, and promoting effective remote collaboration practices.
β’ Over 7 years of program management experience, showcasing a proven track record in delivering cross-functional Enterprise Technology, AI & Data initiatives.
β’ Proven ability to simplify complex processes and develop structured approaches to navigate ambiguous challenges.
β’ Experience in influencing without authority, establishing trust with senior stakeholders, and driving alignment across various functions, including Finance, Legal, Sales, and Product.
β’ Comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels, seamlessly transitioning between executive communication and hands-on program execution as necessary.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience in presenting program status, risks, and recommendations to ETA leadership and executive audiences.
β’ Familiarity with Enterprise Tech domains such as business systems, data, AI, security, infrastructure, or enterprise architecture, with depth in one or more areas preferred.
β’ Experience leading or actively participating in an Architecture Review Board, technical governance forum, or similar design/decision review process is highly desirable.
β’ Proficient in program and project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or similar); PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
β’ Experience in a remote, globally distributed environment with a focus on async collaboration and thorough documentation.
